Modified i10's

Post by LiDL » Wed Jul 18, 2012 3:36 pm

I'm kind of on the fence about the i10, when I see them on the street I seem to either love or hate it I swear I can see a white one drive past and hate it and then see another one same colour and love it..

with it being such a small car, I bet it's a great first car to get into modding.

I've done a quick internet search and there's some nice examples.

Not sure about the colour of this but the subtle mods are nice. I think the lack of number plate helps these pictures though.

I would love a small car to do a sound and lighting project on... could go to town, obviously not practical if I was to add too much weight..

I do think the wheels make the car on that one.

The new generation i10 is a much better looking model than the old shape i10, which is rather boxy at the rear. The new i10 is more akin to modifying that it's predecessor, as it is slightly longer, wider and lower. The interior spec on the Premium model is much better than other cars in its class, with Bluetooth connectivity, speed limiter/cruise control, soft feel steering wheel and nice chrome trimmings for the interior door handles, gear knob and dashboard. The introduction of two tone trim to the interior, really sets this car apart from its rivals, where Black dominates for the interior. Comparing the Hyundai i10 to the Volkswagen Up, the Hyundai is much nicer looking and far better value for money. No wonder it was voted best City Car of the year for 2014. For a small car it has a lot to offer and has more rear leg room than larger cars like the Fiesta, Corsa to name just two and is more comfortable. I just love it!
I hope to post up some photos of my new i10 after Christmas, which I have added a few exterior details. This makes it stand out from other's like it.
There are dealers on Ebay, where you can get enhancements for the i10 (such as body stripe kits), but these are mainly for models up to 2013. No doubt the new generation 2014 model i10 enhancements will start appearing soon.

Just ordered my wife a new i10. I wouldnt have bought the older model as it looked like a toaster. Picked white and looking to tint the rear windows out a little. Seems like mudguards are a waste of time?
