Well, all I can say is that, personally I use BP. And after one year of comparing Morrissons fuel, to BP, this is what I can report.

BP fuel is more expensive, BUT you get more miles out of a tank.

So after one year of working out my MPG, I have averaged 40mpg in my 1.2 i20.

So they both work out the same, more miles, more cost - balanced with cheaper cost, less miles per tank, but the same mpg!

Agreed - Morrisons cut their diesel with minimum 7% biodiesel, and whatever the eco benefits of it, you travel less distance on it compared to regular diesel! I have found Gulf to get me the best results. Currently have Tesco vouchers to use, but sticking Redex in the tank - only £1 per tankful in the Tesco garage. Found no real benefit in using any of the ultimate/momentum more expensive diesels, or I'd happily pay more to see a better MPG figure. Worst result I ever had was on Shell V Power, just 47 MPG! Running average over last 10 tanks and 6,000 + miles is 69.9 MPG according to Fuelly.

Yeah, BP would be my 2nd choice after Gulf.
