Re: What do you all think of the new look?

I don't like the inside dash layout on the new gen i30, prefer the previous model for the style and layout.
Those with sat nav In the new model just looks like an afterthought for some reason.

V.e.d rates.

Just seen a report on how very much road tax will go up for new cars, another reason I would never own a brand new car... Some tax bands have gone from 20-140 a year!! Only zero rates are those that don't output ANY emissions... Seems the uk gov were missing raping the uk motorist and decided to hav...

Clay bars..

Has anyone used a clay bar on the paintwork and glass?
I've been seeing a lot of you tube videos on the subject and they are on sale here now, seems like a brilliant detail step to a smooth gloss finish pre waxing.

Re: 2008 V6 3.3 autobox kickdown reluctant?

Tps is adjustable mildly in some cars, I had a Ford Explorer and it's a meter you could set it for a better response provided there is some movement in the mating surfaces when loosened. Be sure to mark a line between it and the body first, so you can replicate its original position or take meter re...

Please don't fall for that, look to breakers yards and e bay... you will find cheaper and be able to fix if you are capable of simple repairs.. if your worried about a fix and can get the parts, ask for help here. I will do it if we are near enough but I am sure others will help you also and for jus...

Hi all!

Very soon to buy an I 30, probably diesel... deciding on manual or auto, I've driven auto for years but don't mind manual either.
I understand fuel economy is much better in diesel, also i the uk, road tax too...
Looking forward to learning here.
